From the archiving dispatch:

a) The archiving of the Process concerning arguido Robert James Queriol Eveleigh Murat, because there are no indications of the practise of any crime under the dispositions of article 277 number 1 of the Penal Process Code;

b) The archiving of the Process concerning Arguidos Gerald Patrick McCann and Kate Marie Healy, because there are no indications of the practise of any crime under the dispositions of article 277 number 1 of the Penal Process Code.
Of course it is true that neither Robert Murat nor the McCanns were "cleared".

Rather, all 3 were falsely accused, without charges being brought, and as the quote makes clear, the arguido/a statuses of all 3 were dropped.

The current direction of the investigation, actively investigating Brueckner, amply and fully vindicates that judgement.

What the hell the Portuguese Supreme Court was playing at allowing Amaral to profit from a book of lies that maligned and traduced the McCanns and their friends, heaven only knows

This, from some non-descript hater at UK InJustice, a board that carries the idle boast that defamatory material will be removed on sight:
Jane told the PJ that Murat was the same man crossing the road - saw him side on. Murat had thicker hair like the real Tannerman aka Totman. Neither are short haired Smithman. Or do you believe this reconstruction did not take place?
It is recoded that Jane and Russell met Robert Murat en route to the van from where Jane would (later) attempt her sighting, and chatted to him.

It is also recorded that, at the exact moment Robert Murat walked across the road, a car pulled out and blocked her view, and Jane didn't even recognise him as the man she had been speaking to minutes earlier, let alone the man she saw carrying the child.

But the cherished hater-shiboleth that "Jane id'd Robert Murat as the man she saw carrying the child" will continue unabated.
