I watched it I thought it was quite good although not sure who she'll murder. And how did her colleague know about her affair?

I was wondering if the woman [can't think of her name now] and the man she is having an affair with, will murder the man who has found out about it, other wise he will be black mailing her into s-e-x with him.

Though she could tell her husband all about her affair, but don't think that would make for a good thriller :s_biggrin

I've just watched episode 1 and then followed it with episode 2.

What if ... the lover and the George (rapist) know each other? We [the viewer] don't really know anything about this stranger she is having the affair with.

Did anyone notice the reappearance of the scarf (she was wearing it again a few days after) she supposedly dumped it (along with the clothing she was wearing on the night of the rape) into the bins, after she couldn't go into the police station to report the rape?

That is an interesting point Hael didn't think of that, but why?

I am wondering if 'George' kills Mr X what would Yvonne do then? she can't say she dropped him off there can she? she doesn't know who he is either. Strange how there is only her in the court room, does she end up getting blamed for x's death? or does she end up killing 'George'?

Maybe it's some sick twisted sadistic hunt on a soft target/victim. The one gets her to do the unthinkable and the other one takes advantage? :s_dunno

Something happens to either George or Mr X. She is the one who pays for it, by the looks of it.
I just found out who gets killed. Naughty of the BBC to leave bits laying around the internet. :s_laughat

Odd how Mr X is so super careful not to get caught, yet he marches up to Georges house and confronts him. He has been 'existing in the shadows' and could just have stayed there, because Yvonne would never have said anything and George doesn't know the lovers (Mr X) name or else he would surely have used it as leverage by now?

Ah well ... lessons need to be learnt I suppose; if a stranger wants to show you the broom cupboard DON'T GO WITH HIM. And ... an affair is never only between two people.

Interesting to see how it's all going to unfold. Brilliant story telling, just giving the viewer bits and pieces and keeping us interested.

Anyone following Fortitude (TV series)?

I sat watching Series 2, all episodes back to back and what a waste of time!

I wouldn't be tempted into a broom cupboard not after watching this :s_biggrin

Maybe X kills George and then lets Yvonne take the blame as he disappears, after all she doesn't know anything about him does she, could be an experiment he was doing.

I think, in her (and us the viewer) not knowing anything about him, lies the 'catch'. :s_yes Besides his ability to obtain a special broom cupboard key, has a fetish for having s-e-x in public places and cuts a smart figure in a suit, we know sweet all about the man.

Yvonne is as daft as a brush isn't she, not wondering why she doesn't know anything about him and going ahead with all the s-e-x in public, just using her I bet the rat.

Some nasty shockers in Series 2, but all in all a very disappointing story line. One of those that leaves you thinking....spoiler alert
once you get to the last few minutes of the last episode, you think to yourself, WT* ...what a waste of time.

So the penny is dropping .... how much does she really know about him ...
Failed MI5 application.
Horrendous injuries inflicted on George.

And what's with her lawyer trying to encourage her to throw the lover under the bus, with that bullshit story about the 'maternal instinct' experiment?

Final episode tonight. :dance-p:

Another drama tomorrow night on BBC 1 called The Moorside based on the faked abduction of Shannon Matthews.
