Well, it's not to be - this year, at any rate. Still, I am delighted that Venus Williams has made it into the final, and really hope she wins - to make up for losing to her sister at the Australian Open earlier this year. What fantastic sports people those sisters are!

well it was over very quickly! I thought Venus was a dead cert to win.Parent-blaming is all-too-common these days, and usually the point is to make other parents feel better about their own parenting skills
