O psicólogo Paulo Sargento admitiu esta segunda-feira em tribunal, na quinta sessão do julgamento das alegadas agressões a Leonor Cipriano, que a assistente neste processo tem características psicopáticas e propensão para o suicídio, informa a Lusa.

O processo das alegadas agressões a Leonor Cipriano por inspectores da Polícia Judiciária (PJ), está relacionado com o denominado «caso Joana», que remonta a 12 de Setembro de 2004, dia em que a menina, de oito anos, desapareceu da aldeia de Figueira, Portimão, Algarve.

There was no forensic evidence that is incompatible with what would be found waving a black torch around any household and bear in mind that this "forensic sweep" took place 10 days later (Sept 22) in a home in which 3 adults and the remaining children were still living.

But Amaral had decided she and João had done it and that was that. Even if they had killed her and hidden the body, there is nothing to forensically back the alleged massacre. It makes no sense whatsoever. So if it had happened in another way, why confess to such improbable and gruesome acts unless you were forced to?

It's a typical latin police tactic to have their own psychologist declare anyone who they suspect for a crime as aggressive, cold, bitter, depressive, suicidal etc. I have seen it several times, unfortunately, nobody on the defense teams seem to counter that with their own psychologist explaining that it's also a completely natural for an innocent person who are accused of a heinous crime they haven't committed to react & show exactly those types of emotions.
